Combat Depression…

Poetry

Much like art and music, creative writing and poetry and can work wonders when depressed. It doesn’t even have to be a work of literary genius - just playing with words and emotions can help sort out a darkened mind.

Here you will find a variety of poetry written by my dear readers who have been so kind as to share it with the world.

Have a moan!

I hope you’ve been able to find something here to help occupy and ease your weary soul. If you haven’t and still need some help, you can always send me an email and vent your frustrations - if you don’t want me to reply to it, just say so, but sometimes simply bitching to someone can help unload a burdoned soul, and if you have no-one in your life to bitch to, may as well bitch to me (I won’t take it personally, unless it’s aimed at me of course!)

I'm Addy; 29, a little crazy, a little kinky, and I suffer from bipolar type 1, depression and self harm. They are illnesses I suffer from and are not a reflection of my personality. I'm tired of the stigma surrounding mental health, it's time we gave it a damn good spanking. This is my journey with depression.
