Help and Advice

Coming from my own personal experiences, suffering from the likes of depression, self harm and bipolar can be hard. You are often frustrated and angry, not only with yourself, but with other people who constantly keep telling you to just “cheer up” and get over it. It’s not as easy as that! These are illnesses, and like with all illnesses, it requires time, energy and committment to try and beat them.

This page collects useful help, tips and advice on coping with mental illness.

They are useful for those suffering and fighting to overcome their conditions themselves, and also for friends and family of those suffering.

I'm Addy; 29, a little crazy, a little kinky, and I suffer from bipolar type 1, depression and self harm. They are illnesses I suffer from and are not a reflection of my personality. I'm tired of the stigma surrounding mental health, it's time we gave it a damn good spanking. This is my journey with depression.
